Orders & Payments Policy

Transparency is our standard. This policy outlines our accepted payment methods, billing security protocols, corporate invoicing terms, and how we process your hardware and service orders.

Order Placement & Validation

Placing an item in your shopping cart does not constitute a completed order. An order is only confirmed once payment is successfully authorized and you receive an official Akira Order Confirmation email.

Order Processing Rules:

  • Stock Availability: All products, especially imported hardware and Starlink kits, are subject to availability. If an item sells out before your payment clears, you will be fully refunded.
  • Fraud Checks: We utilize automated fraud-prevention telemetry. If an order triggers a high-risk alert, we reserve the right to cancel the order or request further identity verification.
  • Pricing Errors: In the rare event of a system pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund your payment in full.

Accepted Payment Methods

We partner with South Africa’s leading Payment Gateways (PayFast, Yoco, Ozow) to ensure a secure checkout experience. All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Instant Methods

  • Credit & Cheque Cards: Visa and Mastercard are accepted via our 3D Secure enabled gateways.
  • Instant EFT: Fast, secure bank transfers utilizing Ozow or PayFast Instant EFT. Orders clear immediately.

Flexible & Alternative Methods

  • Buy Now, Pay Later: Payflex and PayJustNow are fully supported at checkout. (See section 04 for specific terms).
  • Manual EFT / Bank Transfer: Corporate clients and large hardware orders can be settled via traditional EFT using an Akira invoice reference.

Corporate & B2B Invoicing

Akira Technology Solutions heavily supports the corporate sector. We offer streamlined invoicing and specific billing terms for registered business entities.

Pro-Forma Quotes

Companies requiring purchasing approval can generate valid pro-forma PDF invoices directly from their shopping cart or via our corporate sales team. Quotes are valid for 7 business days.

Account Facilities

Approved enterprise clients, educational institutions, and corporate partners may apply for 30-day payment terms. Credit limits are strictly evaluated by our financial department.

Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)

We know that premium tech hardware is an investment. We have integrated Payflex and PayJustNow to allow you to split your payments over time at 0% interest.

Important Terms for BNPL

  • Independent Approval: Akira Technology Solutions does not control BNPL credit limits. Approval and risk assessments are handled entirely by Payflex or PayJustNow.
  • Refund Processing: If you return a BNPL order, we initiate the refund to the BNPL provider. They are responsible for adjusting your payment schedule and returning funds to your card.

Cancellations & Pre-Orders

Standard Cancellations

You may cancel an order for a full refund anytime before the order reaches the "Processing for Dispatch" stage in your Client Portal. Once dispatched, you must wait to receive the goods and follow our standard Returns Policy.

Hardware Pre-Orders (Starlink)

For high-demand items requiring import (such as Starlink Residential kits), placing a pre-order reserves your unit in our incoming shipment queue. Pre-orders are strictly binding.

If you cancel a specialized import pre-order before fulfillment, a 10% administrative and restocking penalty fee may be deducted from your final refund to cover logistical costs.

Akira Technology Solutions complies with strict PCI-DSS standards. We utilize 3D Secure technology to verify cardholder identity, and we never store your raw CVV or card number on our servers.
